Maybe the Mayans had it right.  Maybe the world is gearing up to end in 2012.  Between the weather, catastrophes, and fighting in the Middle East, it may just be the end of days.  I am hoping that the message I gained from the documentary "I am" resonates throughout the world.  It is a wonderful film.  Opens the mind and makes you rethink yourself and the role you play in this world.  I can only hope that I am able to use the inspiration from the film to start making some changes.  If you have the chance, please watch this film. http://iamthedoc.com/

Fall

0 min read
I always seem to love the Fall season.  I missed it when we lived in California and had 2 seasons - hot and sunny or wet and cold. The leaves are beautiful here in Portland.  I hope the predicted torrential rains this weekend don't cut the season short.  Nothing is less inspiring than wet, tattered, browning leaves all over the ground. Made curtains for the yoga studio and put together a lot of furniture.  One more big piece to assemble and the bones of the studio are in place.  I am enjoying helping to decorate.  Hopefully it is inspiring to the students and teachers.  And I get to energize a bit with a creative outlet.

sitting here in my flannel pj's wondering where summer went.  My favorite season in Portland and we got ripped off this summer.  We suffer through the cold and wet usually to bask in the most perfect summer weather of any location in the US.  But we bounced from 68 degrees to 98 degrees with very few 80 degree days.  We had rain forever in June & July.  Hopefully September shapes up and gives us a late summer.  Just grumbling because I cannot believe it is September 1st tomorrow. Haven't worked on anything lately.  Made a yoga mat bag.  Might make some more and try to sell them.  That would require motivation - which is hard to find lately!
